Our Ministries

At First Christian Church, we focus on serving the community and promoting spiritual growth through service.

FCC's "Street-side" Food Pantry

Pastor Dan White was moved to begin a ministry to the people of our church's Berryville neighborhood. The congregation fully supported his vision, and our "street-side" food pantry was born.

Food and monetary donations for food come from the congregation, and the pantry is replenished daily. Many come to sustain themselves and their families whose needs are great.

Loaves & Fishes Food Bank
of the Ozarks

Several in our congretation contribute their time to the Loaves & Fishes Food Bank in Berryville. Established in 1986, Loaves & Fishes Food Bank of the Ozarks has served the food needs of hundreds of families in Carroll County. First Christian Church member volunteers have participated for all those many years. Robb McDaniel also serves on the Board of Directors.

Caitlan Davis,
our missionary to Thailand

Caitlan Davis is a full-time international missionary in Chiang Mai, Thailand, with Cru. Caitlan serves students and missionary families as the band director at Grace International School, an international school for missionary kids that enables families to stay on the fields in their various ministry roles. Caitlan teaches middle school and high school band, jazz ensemble, string ensemble, and yearbook. She also serves as the staff sponsor for Student Council, music club, leads a Bible study for 12th grade girls, and disciples a handful of students and staff members.

Grace International School was founded in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to meet a critical need in the missions community- the need for families to provide education for their children. Our school was founded so that international Christian workers can be enabled to remain abroad due to the educational and spiritual needs of their children being met. Grace International School currently serves as one of the largest faith-based international schools in the world—with over 500 students yearly, whose families represent over 85 member organizations and serve in 40+ countries across the globe.

We hope you will enjoy the photos Caitlan has shared with us over the years!

Historic Pea Ridge Cemetery

The Pea Ridge Cemetery is the site of the graves of Sarah Lou and Mancil Bostick...significant figures in the history of Disciples, particularly African American Disciples in Arkansas.

This cemetery holds graves from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Berryville First Christian Church commits annually to financially support this historic site.

Pastor Dan White presents the curators of the Pea Ridge Cemetery with a check from FCC at the DOC Regional Assembly in Baton Rough, LA, in November.

"Disaster Buckets" donated to Regional DOC Office

First Christian Church came together to assemble "Disaster Buckets" that were specially decorated for the holidays, to be added to the collection located at the regional headquarters in Little Rock.

These buckets are equipped with necessities required as a result of disastrous weather events in our geographic region.

Pictured here are Bev Utnage and Carola White assembling buckets.

"My family has been a part of this church for over 150 years. I truly enjoy the abundant spiritual environment here. FCC is open-minded and receptive to all. Plus there's fellowship, food and fun! They are a big part of going to this church, too."
