This spring, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ann Richardson and the dedicated volunteers from our church who took on the wonderful task of planting the flower gardens. Their hard work and commitment have transformed our outdoor spaces, bringing vibrant colors and life to our community.
The effort put in by these volunteers not only beautifies our surroundings but also creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who visits. It’s inspiring to see how their teamwork and passion for nature have made a positive impact. We appreciate each and every one of you for your time and devotion in making our church grounds bloom beautifully. Mother's Day
On Mother’s Day, we celebrated the incredible mothers of our church by bestowing upon them a beautiful rose. Each rose symbolized the unique strength and dedication that mothers bring into our lives, reminding us of the sacrifices they make and the unconditional love they provide.
It was a service filled with warmth and gratitude, as we recognized the vital role mothers play in shaping our lives and nurturing future generations. The roses served not only as gifts but as a heartfelt reminder of the profound impact that motherhood has had on all of us.

Gideon Don McNeeley speaks to FCC Congregation
Gideon Don McNeeley addressed the congregation with a heartfelt message about the impactful work of The Gideons International around the world.

Brett O'Dell speaks at FCC Sunday Service
Brett O'Dell's 20-month journey in New Guinea as a missionary was a transformative experience that he passionately shared with us.
Immersed in a culture vastly different from his own, he learned valuable lessons about resilience, community, and faith. Through his stories, we gained insight into the challenges he faced, from language barriers to navigating local customs. Brett recounted heartwarming interactions with the locals, emphasizing the importance of building relationships over merely spreading religious beliefs.
His experiences painted a vivid picture of life in New Guinea, highlighting the beauty of its landscapes and the richness of its cultural tapestry. By reflecting on his mission, Brett didn’t just recount events; he conveyed the profound impact that service and connection can have on both the giver and the receiver. Springtime Ladies' Tea
The Ladies' Tea at First Christian Church was a delightful gathering filled with warmth and camaraderie. Attendees enjoyed a variety of delicious foods, each dish lovingly prepared by JoAnn Foulk to create a welcoming atmosphere. As the women sipped their tea, they shared stories and laughter, fostering connections that would last beyond the event. Their words of wisdom encouraged everyone to embrace their unique journeys and support one another in faith.
The event was not just about tea and treats; it was a celebration of community, friendship, and spiritual growth, leaving all who attended feeling inspired and uplifted.

Easter Sunday 2025 at FCC
This past Sunday, we gathered together to celebrate the joyous resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our morning began with a delicious breakfast prepared by JoAnn Foulk, where friends and family shared laughter and delicious food. Afterward, we moved to the worship service, where the atmosphere was one of unity and love as we acknowledged the miracle of the resurrection, a cornerstone of our faith.

Cheri White joins the church


This Sunday marked a significant moment in Cheri White's life as she publicly declared her faith in Jesus Christ and joined the congratation of First Christian Church. Surrounded by a warm and supportive congregation, Cheri was officially welcomed as our newest member.

David Bell receives Award
Congratulations to our own David Bell, who was awarded the Carla Youngblood Spirit Award by the Berryville Friends of the Library in a surprise presentation at the end of the worship service.
The award is presented to a Berryville resident each year in recognition of a life lived dedicated to the community it a better place to live, work and play.
David is joined by Friends of the Library leadership, along with his family.
Congratulations David! A well-deserved award indeed!

Joe Mills inducted into Berryville Athletic Hall of Fame

Yard Sale to Benefit Pea Ridge Cemetery
The church organized a vibrant yard sale at the church's front lawn to support the maintenance of the historic Pea Ridge Cemetery in Lonoke County, Arkansas.
Church volunteers worked diligently to set up tables and organize donations. All proceeds from the sale were dedicated to the cemetery, allowing it to preserve its historical significance as a part of the heritage of the Disciples of Christ in Arkansas.

Ladies' Tea Event
The women of the church and community gathered for an enchanting afternoon filled with joy and spiritual upliftment.
As they sat around beautifully arranged tables, the air was filled with laughter and the delightful aroma of various delicacies being served. It was a celebration of togetherness, where culinary delights met heartfelt conversations, leaving everyone with a sense of belonging and renewed spirit. This event not only nourished their bodies but also lifted their souls.

Street-side Food Pantry Dedicated
Church members gathered to celebrate the dedication of a new street-side food pantry, a heartfelt initiative designed to serve those who are hungry in our neighborhood. Warm smiles symbolized our collective commitment to combating food insecurity.
The pantry, stocked with non-perishable goods and essential supplies, stands as a beacon of support for families in need. We are united in our mission to ensure that no one goes hungry, and with this pantry, we take a significant step towards nourishing both bodies and souls. Together, we embrace the spirit of generosity and hope, fostering a brighter future for all.

The Church Welcomes its Newest Member
Meeting Eliza Bolton, the newest and youngest member of our church, was an absolute joy. Eliza's presence symbolizes new beginnings and the hope we carry for the future of our church.
Eliza is the daughter of Emily and Scott Bolton, and the granddaughter of Minister of Music, David Bell. Also pictured is granddaughter Ceiley, Eliza's big sister.
Welcome, Eliza, to a place where you will always be cherished and celebrated!
2021-2022
Worship in the Face of Covid
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the church community found an innovative way to come together while adhering to health guidelines. Members gathered in their cars creating a unique, safe space for worship.
They tuned their radios to a designated frequency, allowing Pastor Dan's voice and David Bell's uplifting music to fill the air waves. This drive-in worship experience not only enabled congregants to connect spiritually but also fostered a sense of community and togetherness during such isolating times.
As they sang along and prayed together, the love and spirit of the church thrived in an unconventional yet heartwarming manner, reminding everyone of the importance of faith and community, even when physically apart.
